Lennart Jirlow

Lennart Jirlow
(1936-Present) Swedish
Born in Stockholm, Jirlow studied art as the youngest student of the year under Konstfack in 1952. Post Konstfack, he went abroad traveling Holland, France, and Italy among others. Jirlow stayed in Florence for a number of years where he studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti, and today lives in Provence. His work is characterized largely by his colorful and naïve subject matter, featuring motifs from (Parisian) restaurant environments and flowering gardens.
