Guy Bardone

(1927 - 2015) French

Bardone was a French painter and one of the important members of the French New Figurative Art. Bardone studied at L’Ecole National Superieure des Arts Decoratifs (The National School of Decorative Arts) in Paris, where he studied under the masters Maurice Brianchon, Jules Cavailles, and Francois Desnoyer.  His mature style consisted of using light, calm moods, and remoteness to create radiant landscapes and still lives.
