Collection: Antique art posters in New York City

• Tapisseries, en L'église de Château-Felletin-Creuse by Le Corbusier, 1963: This poster advertised the exhibition of the Swiss architect Le Corbusier in the church of the Chateau Felletin. It may not be part of famous signed and limited collections, but contains highly imaginative art.
• Congrès Mondial pour le Désarmement Général et la Paix by Pablo Picasso, 1962: Pablo Picasso’s “La Colombe" captures a unique take of a bird already associated with peace. Adopting this lithographic poster by the World Congress for General Disarmament and Peace in 1962 began its use in subsequent congresses. It was published in German, French, English, Arabic, Spanish, and Russian due to the international character of the congress' effort. It is not one of the pieces you might want to examine if you are looking at Art Deco posters vintage in New York City.
• Musée Dynamique-Dakar by Pierre Soulages, 1974: This poster was made for the exhibition of the works of Soulages in Dakar in 1974. Picasso and Cézanne powerfully influenced the artist, and his work was intriguing. The Musée Dynamique, where the exhibition was held, was repurposed, so this poster may be a way of celebrating an era gone by.
