This original lithograph by Bernard Buffet, is a proof from the book "Le Voyage au Japon", illustrating a text by the writer Annabel Buffet, his wife and muse, as an homage to the beauty and mystery of Japan.

This project was published by Les Editions A.C. Mazo. Twenty four original color lithographs were included in each of the portfolios, as well as another suite of the lithographs in the first 80 deluxe sets. All the prints were produced by Bernard Buffet on the presses of the Atelier Mourlot, Paris and completed in 1981. 

Edition of 200 of which only 80 portfolios contain a suite aside from the book Ref. Sorlier #367
