This colorful lithographic poster was reproduced at Mourlot by Charles Sorlier for Poliakoff's retrospective at the Paris Musée d'Art Moderne in 1970, a year after his death
Upon returning to Paris, after studying in London in the 1930's, Poliakoff kept painting in a figurative style. However, after meeting Kandinsky and the Delaunays, he developed his singular method and eventually became a leading abstract painter in the Ecole de Paris.
