Lithographic poster created for the first exhibition of Picasso's famous series of works that reinterpreted Velásquez "Las Meninas". During the summer of 1957, Picasso produced 44 painting directly inspired by Velásquez. This poster features a loose drawing from that series, with two young ladies in billowing dresses and the impression of a dog in blue at their feet. The colorful writing beautifully evokes the hand of the artist, from the edition of 1,500.
