L'atelier de Cannes - Collection Mourlot (after) Pablo Picasso, 1988
Artist: Pablo Picasso
Medium: Lithographic Poster, 1988
Dimensions: 30 x 21 in, 76.2 x 53.3 cm
Classic Poster Paper - Perfect Condition A+
This lithographic poster is based on the lithograph L'atelier de Cannes, which was used as a frontispiece for the book Dans l'atelier de Picasso published in 1957. Picasso frequently painted the women he was in love with. He was a famously charismatic personality; Picasso's disregard for what others thought of his work made him a formidable seductor.
In this instance, the image was used to promote an exhibition displaying a collection of Picasso prints from the Mourlot Collection.
