This lithographic poster by Juan Gris was designed for an exhibition of his production of cubist drawings and gouache paintings between 1910 and 1927 at the Galerie Leiris. Galerie Leiris was owned by D.H. Kahnweiler who also represented the pioneer of Cubism alongside Picasso and Braque.

This work by Gris is a classic example of the artistic movement. Overlapping planes recorded from multiple viewpoints make up this fragmented image of a seltzer siphon and a cocktail glass on a table. Published by Galerie Leiris. Ed. 750.
