This very rare lithographic poster was designed to promote an exhibition of Raoul Dufy's work at the Galerie Louis Carré in Paris in 1943. By 1950, his hands were struck with rheumatoid arthritis and his ability to paint diminished, as he had to fasten the brush to his handThis poster was reproduced by Mourlot Master Printer Henri Deschamps who worked closely with Dufy for many years.
