Lithographic poster for the "Salon des Peintres témoins de leurs temps", which was an annual art exhibition organized by Isis Kischka in 1951. It would take place at the Galliera Museum in Paris and would be centered on a new theme every year. This "Salon" existed until 1983.
This is lithographic poster was reproduced from a 1948 gouache that was part of a series of "cyclists" paintings that Leger worked on. Most likely, the Master Printer who did the work was Henri Deschamps. Ed. 800.
