Created in 1958 to promote an exhibition of his new Ceramics produced in the South of France, this original color lithograph on wove paper was drawn by Pablo Picasso himself. The face featured in the image, represents one of Picasso’s famous ceramics plates. This is the first version of the poster and later that day, Picasso would add a different plate to bring more color to the image. Pleased with both results, the artist decided to keep both version as they complemented each other well.
