This rare and beautiful lithographic poster in 6 colors was created for an exhibitions of Serge Poliakoff paintings at the Galerie Louis Carré, Paris in 1981.
Upon returning to Paris, after studying in London in the 1930's, Poliakoff kept painting in a figurative style. However, after meeting Kandinsky and the Delaunays, he developed his singular method and eventually became a leading abstract painter in the Ecole de Paris.
