This lithographic poster was produced for an exhibition of Marc Chagall's prints at the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris in 1970. The image was reproduced by Mourlot's Master Printer Charles Sorlier and features a drawing from the 1920's made in Berlin and illustrating Chagalls childhood in Vitebsk, formerly Russia and currently Belarus. Ed. 1,500. A further edition of 50 proofs numbered and signed by Chagall. Ref. Sorlier # 123.
