This original lithographic poster was created by Roger Muhl, for an exhibition of the Mourlot Collection at the Sogo Museum of Art in Nara, Japan. This bright and joyous landscape depicts the view over the two islands from the hills above the Bay of Cannes. Roger Muhl lived in the town of Mougins and often found his inspiration in the natural beauty of the Mediterranean.
This edition was 500 and there was also a variant edition of 500 with a different set for a 1992 exhibition of lithographs at the Galerie Mourlot in Boston. Additionally there is a signed and limited edition of 150 printed on Arches paper.
