The image was reproduced by Mourlot's Master Printer Charles Sorlier and features a drawing from the 1920's made in Berlin and illustrating Chagalls childhood in Vitebsk, formerly Russia and currently Belarus. Ed. 1,500. A further edition of 50 proofs numbered and signed by Chagall. Ref. Sorlier # 123.
