This original lithograph by Bernard Buffet is a proof from the portfolio "Don Quichotte" (Don Quixote), illustrating passages from Cervantes' famous book. The large project was published by Buffet's long time gallery and publisher, Maurice Garnier. Ten original color lithographs were included in each of the portfolios, as well as another suite of black and white only version on deluxe sets. All the prints were produced by Bernard Buffet on the presses of the Atelier Mourlot, Paris and completed in 1989.
Edition of 235 of which only 45 portfolios contain the black and white versions.
